シンポジウムの会場が沸いたのは、グリーンピースの資金源について語　
った時だ。当初は全世界の会員４００万人からの会費だけだったが、ロッ　
クフェラーなどリッチな５０の財団から資金を得るようになり、活動資金　
の８０パーセントを占めるようになったという。そのリッチな財団は、一　
方では原子力発電の支持団体である。「それらの財団は環境を大切にして

　「自動車ほど環境を破壊する技術はないとあなたは書いているが、なぜ　
車に反対しないのか」と質問したら、「そんな運動に誰が金を出しますか」
と答えた。これでグリーンピースの正体が分かった気がした。
